With the organization of the Pietra e Scalpellini Association, the duo Molom returns with a live performance of 30 minutes in which stone becomes a material for engraving, both musically and physically tangible.
“Fragments of a matrix ready to explode,” the title of the performance, combines the art of sculpture and its gestures with real-time sound processing.
The parallelism between full and empty highlights how sculpture, the art of subtraction, reveals hidden forms, while sound manifests through the voids created. This dialogue between subtracting and adding creates a tension that invites reflection on the dichotomies absence / presence, silence / noise.
The performances of Molom are experiences that embrace the interconnection between visual arts and sound art, creating a vibrant dialogue between two art forms that are part of the background of the two performers.
The event will take place on Saturday, July 26, from 6:00 PM at the former Quarry of Rodei, along the road leading to Olantreghe, in the Longarone area. A participation fee of 5.00€, which includes an entrance ticket to the Museum, is required.
