Dolomiti - Un paesaggio tutelato

The start date of the event Beyond the Peaks is Saturday, October 4, 2025, with the presentation at 10:30 AM at Palazzo Bembo of the homonymous book “Dolomites – A Protected Landscape”. The authors will be present, and the meeting will be led by journalist Flavio Faoro.

Following this, the inauguration of the exhibition titled “Dolomites – A Protected Landscape” will take place at 11:30 AM at Palazzo Bembo.
The exhibition features the evocative photographs of Manuel Cicchetti and the texts of writer Antonio G. Bortoluzzi, taken from the homonymous book published by Marsilio Arte and the Veneto Region.

An exhibition that aims to restore the complexity of one of the most emblematic and vulnerable natural landscapes in Europe, exposed to the challenges of climate change, urbanization, and invasive tourism. Cicchetti and Bortoluzzi intertwine vision and writing to return to the highlands their meaning of civilization, doing so through the three themes of landscape, built spaces, and sociality.
