Commedia con I Comelianti "Innocenti, ma non troppo"

The I Comelianti theater group presents its new comedy, "Innocent, but Not Too Innocent."

The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Cencenighe Agordino, in collaboration with I Comelianti APS, the Cencenighe Municipal Library, and the Municipality of Cencenighe Agordino.

The body of a man, the unloved husband of a beautiful woman, is discovered in a meadow. Perhaps an old man accidentally killed him, perhaps a prudish spinster, perhaps his wife...

The protagonists of this hilarious "Cluedo" game, dealing with a corpse that must be disappeared and... reappeared, give rise to a series of comical incidents and grotesque situations: how will they emerge? Perhaps guilty. Or maybe innocent...

But not too innocent... Loosely inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's "The Conspiracy of the Innocents," the comedy captures the atmosphere of a small American country town in the 1950s, with all its picturesque human incidents. With this unique play, which draws on one of the master of suspense's most singular works, I Comelianti offers a fast-paced comedy with a minimalist setting.

The space is defined by the relationships between the characters, and the set supports the network woven by the protagonists.

The ironic and subtle text entertains but also, in a certain sense, makes one think: in the delightful fest of relationships, complicity, alliances, and subterfuge, it clearly emerges how fragile the truth is. And we hope, in the investigation to find the culprits, to bring a smile to your face... strictly noir!
