‘Dolomites’ The Most Beautiful Mountains in the World

Mountaineer and Alpine Guide, Christoph Hainz will present images, exciting and thrilling footage as he free-climbs the Cima Grande di Lavaredo with impressive agility and speed. An athlete also known for his great connection with his home mountains: the Dolomites and in particular the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Here he also achieved a record-breaking feat: the Comici-Dimai route on the North Face of the Cima Grande, solo, without ropes, in just 48 minutes.

The simplicity of Christoph Hainz's words and his consideration of himself as “a normal person”, despite his experiences lived almost always on the limit, will not fail to involve and captivate the audience.

Christoph Hainz born 23.07.1962 is one of the world's best mountaineers in the round and one of the most eclectic of his time. He has opened more than 80 new routes in the Dolomites and around the world. The list of his mountaineering exploits is truly extraordinary and counts over 2,500 routes (of which 25 solo routes with difficulty levels between VI and VIII).

Numerous are his first ascents on rock and ice with difficulties up to grade 10, and his solo ascents have earned him particular fame. He has climbed all over the world, in Morocco, Jordan, Antarctica, Greenland, the Himalayas and Patagonia. Among the most famous extra-European ascents is the new route on Shivling together with Hans Kammerlander in 1993 and the solo ascent of Fitz Roy in only nine hours from Base Camp
