Four steps that will take you back 100 years. With the help of expert historical re-enactors we will enrich the story of the Great War on the Marmolada, making it more alive than ever both inside the Marmolada Grande Guerra 3000 m Museum and among the galleries and walkways of the Sacred Monumental Zone.

The First World War, also known as the Great War, was the protagonist of the world scene from the first declarations of war in 1914 until the peace treaties of 1919. A war which also saw the Dolomites and the Marmolada area as protagonists from 1915 to 1917.

PLAN

- 8.30am meeting at the Funivie Marmolada square in Malga Ciapela where a tent will be set up with material from the Great War;

- 9:00 rally with parade and flag raising, followed by a cable car ride to Punta Rocca for a ceremony in the Grotta della Madonna and then descending to Serauta, where there will be a flag raising at the monument in memory of the fallen and then a visit to the Sacred Monumental Area of ​​Punta Serauta;

- 4.00pm Lower the flag at the Funivie Marmolada square in Malga Ciapela;
