Andrea takes us to the foot of the Marmolada to discover together his project told in the short film by outThere Collective.
Elective Affinities talks about climbing and technical difficulties but also about love for the mountains, care for the land, and a passion that involves entire generations.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, December 18 at 8:30 PM to watch together the new short film "Elective Affinities," filmed by outThere Collective, about the latest endeavor of climber Andrea Milani.
Mountain guide, climber, and ski mountaineer, Andrea has been working for several years on some projects that have "brought to life" a crag at the foot of the Marmolada, near Passo Fedaia.
After getting to know the local community and climbing with Mario Prinoth, one of the bolters of the routes available at the crag, he became passionate about the stories of these walls and the sports and especially human connections that shape their geography.
After climbing the historic route of Mario "The Search," adding a section he called "Absinthium" (9A), Andrea freed an old project of his brother Luca Prinoth, who sadly has now passed away.
Absinthium remains unrepeated and is probably the hardest sport route in the Dolomites.
Giovanni Danieli and Davide Terenzi from outThere Collective decided to follow Andrea in his project of connecting the routes of the two brothers, telling not only about the sport and technical difficulties but everything behind a dream that speaks of passion and determination, of community and a shared love for the mountain.
The result is the short film "Elective Affinities," which is also the name of the new route.
Register for the evening.
