World War I museums in Belluno province

World War I Museums In Belluno Province

In Belluno province between 1915 and 1917, the front line went from Marmolada to Col di Lana, to Tofane, from Cristallo to the ridges of Comelico.

During the retreat of Caporetto in 1917, the Italian army retreated to the Grappa massif and the Piave River, further enlarging the area directly involved in the conflict.
