Salita alla Cima del Civetta

Summit symbol of the entire Agordino area and the great mountaineering feats of the early century. The "wall of walls," as Reinhold Messner named it... we will ascend together via the normal route, a not difficult path but one that requires good training!


Meeting at 8:00 AM at the Coldai refuge (or alternatively at 7:00 AM at the Pezze plans). Briefing and departure along the path that leads to the normal ascent route. We will ascend between ledges and ridges, crossing the famous “Lieutenant's Pass.” A short equipped section will lead us to the Maria Vittoria Torrani refuge and then to the much-desired summit (3220 m). Magnificent views of all the Dolomites! Return in the late afternoon to the Coldai refuge.
