On Friday, August 9th, the Burz Refuge is organizing a special event: “Night Under the Stars,” a unique experience to be immersed in nature, in the heart of the Dolomites. You will be able to camp for one night in the area adjacent to the refuge, with arrivals starting from 6:30 PM. A typical dinner will welcome you, designed to savor local flavors: we will begin with a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses, followed by a mixed grill of meat and vegetables, and concluding with a dessert of your choice. (Drinks are not included in the price.) After dinner, we will have a truly magical moment: we will lift our eyes to the sky for an evening of astronomical observation, guided by Giulia Lafrate, an astrophysicist and head of scientific communication at the Trieste Astrophysics Observatory. It will be an opportunity to discover stars, planets, and constellations, immersed in the silence and beauty of the night mountain. The following morning, a rich buffet breakfast will await you in the refuge, to sweetly bid farewell before heading back.
-Access to the refuge is only allowed on foot, by bike, or via the ski lift (last ride at 5:00 PM, extra cost).
- The participation fee is 60.00 Euros per person and includes dinner, overnight camping (the tent must be brought from home), guided observation, and breakfast.
Reservations are mandatory by writing to info@burz.it. Payment must be made in advance.
In case of bad weather, the event may be postponed or canceled with a refund of the fee. In case of cancellation after August 6th or no-show without notice, the fee will not be refunded.
