Special event dedicated to the in-depth study of alpine herbs to discover their properties, active ingredients, and main uses, featuring Dr. Ernesto Riva, a pharmacist specialized in Pharmaceutical Botany and author of the book “HERBARIUM – Medicinal Plants of the Dolomites”, who will hold an unmissable outdoor lesson in the wonderful Dolomite setting of Passo Giau.
Following this, there will be an exclusive botanically themed picnic lunch in the hut, at the foot of Monte Pore, thanks to two guest chefs – Chris Oberhammer (Tilia restaurant, Dobbiaco, 1 * Michelin star) and Andrea Irsara (Gourmet Hotel Gran Ander, Badia, BZ) – who will join the team of Luigi Dariz and Ristorante Da Aurelio at Passo Giau to prepare a unique signature menu centered around mountain herbs, accompanied by a tasting of prestigious wines.
The meeting point for this special day is in the morning, at Ristorante Da Aurelio at Passo Giau, from where we will then move to the nearby location of Melei, close to the Aurelio hut, to experience a full day dedicated to discovering alpine herbs.
The participation fee is €150 for the entire day (lesson, aperitif, and picnic lunch in the hut at Passo Giau), to be paid on the day of the event.
Spaces are limited, and reservation is mandatory.
