The 1753 Trail
A new trail that retraces the line established in agreement between the Habsburg Empire and the Republic of Venice in 1753, marked by boundary markers and large crosses carved into the rock, and shows more recent signs, such as the trenches of World War I and the forts of the Littorio Alpine Defensive Line. Refreshments available at the Coltrondo hut.
Difficulty: medium. Elevation gain: 750m. Time: 4-5 hours.
