Cortina Dobbiaco Run

The run in the Dolomites: a true multi-sensory experience.

We start from the Queen of the Dolomites, in Corso Italia, a couple of kilometers and we enter the track of the old railway, we run on a dirt path with a slight incline, with passages through tunnels and little bridges that seem suspended in the void.

All this always with the Dolomites by our side, until we reach the summit of Passo Cima Banche (1530 m, maximum height of the track), which serves as a watershed between Belluno and Bolzano, between Veneto and Alto Adige.

A slight descent awaits the athletes after 14 km, guiding them down to Lake Landro, where shortly after, on the right, rises the universal symbol of these places: the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Imposing and majestic, they are known all over the world for their charm and beauty. After a few kilometers, another highlight of the course awaits the competitors, the alpine lake of Dobbiaco, a sign that the finish line is now near.

As we exit the woods, the first houses of Dobbiaco come into view, we leave the dirt path; we are at the last kilometer. The finish line, located in the beautiful park of the Grand Hotel, is down there at the end, here we are, welcomed by the large crowd, marking the end of a beautiful and exciting run.
