Andy Warhol - LOVE POP - Icons and Masterpieces

Belluno lights up with the colors and icons of Pop Art with “Andy Warhol – LOVE POP – Icons and Masterpieces”, the major exhibition dedicated to the genius of Warhol, at the Civic Museum of Palazzo Fulcis from April 19 to June 29.

The exhibition will be held on the third floor of Palazzo Fulcis and will offer the public a structured path through approximately 117 works including prints, screenprints, lithographs, and documentation from the Rosini Gutman Collection, which includes one of the largest and most important anthologies of Andy Warhol's work internationally.
The exhibition, curated by Gianfranco Rosini and organized by ICONARS and the Municipality of Belluno, will be a journey into the visual universe of one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, through iconic works, screenprints, and portraits that have marked the collective imagination, such as the famous portraits of Marilyn Monroe or the Campbell’s Soup Cans. The exhibition will also provide the opportunity to discover a more unpublished side of Warhol, with testimonies from some of the most important phases of Andy Warhol's artistic life in relation to his European origins, showcasing an artist fully immersed in Pop culture and philosophy. Not only prints, screenprints, and lithographs of iconic subjects, but also album covers created for groups like the Rolling Stones and Velvet Underground, to name one example.

The exhibition comes to Belluno thanks to the efforts of 24 entrepreneurs who have come together to raise the necessary funds for the event.
