LAKE MISURINA
BETWEEN CAPRICIOUS PRINCESSES, KNIGHTS, AND FAIRIES
Accompanied by the tour guide Marta Azzalini. At 1754 m above sea level lies Lake Misurina, at the foot of the Three Peaks, which is said to take its name from a capricious princess and the legend that narrates her sad tales. Walking along the shores of the lake and telling the fairy tales linked to this spectacular place, the years of the First World War will be reconstructed, fought on the Dolomite front, which also permanently changed the profile of the famous Three Peaks.
The itinerary includes a scenic walk around the lake (about 2.5 km) interspersed with stories of local legends and the military episodes that involved the Dolomite peaks of the area.
Duration of the itinerary: approximately 2 hours
No admission fees are required
