The incredible trial of Costante, an Alpine Mule during the Great War. Costante, along with his driver Mario and another 66 Alpini from the Fenestrelle Battalion, must defend himself in a trial after being accused of desertion that occurred in the summer of 1915 during an attack at the Passo della Sentinella. A story told from the perspective of a Venetian Mule with a Piedmontese Alpine. Two soldiers from the Fenestrelle Battalion united by an unbreakable friendship that will help them face their destiny.
