From August 2 to September 14, 2025, coinciding with the exhibition New York New York. Back to the 80’s, Farsettiarte will present, at the gallery in Cortina d’Ampezzo, a preview of the ancient art auction that will take place in Prato in October.
A selection of works of Emilian painting, from an important private collection, which will include various paintings and some drawings made by great masters of the sixteenth, seventeenth, and eighteenth centuries.
Among the exhibited works, there will be a copper oil painting by Ippolito Scarsella known as lo Scarsellino depicting the Massacre of the Innocents, a replica of the version kept at the Galleria Borghese in Rome, an Annunciation by Ubaldo Gandolfi, a sketch for the altarpiece of the church of Santa Maria della Misericordia in Bologna, a Saint Mary Magdalene Penitent by Gaetano Gandolfi, an Allegory from the workshop of Benvenuto Tisi da Garofalo known as il Garofalo, and a painting on the subject of Susanna and the Elders attributed to Giulio Cesare Procaccini.
