Music Live Night

Every year on the night of August 14th, the eve of the “Assumption” feast, many bonfires are lit across the Ampezzo area as a tradition. This is a very ancient custom, beloved by the Ladins, to celebrate Ferragosto and the Assumption of the Virgin Mary into heaven.

In honor of this tradition, Alberto from the Lago d’Ajal refuge will offer special off-menu dishes on the evening of August 14th. Additionally, torches will be positioned around the lake to create a truly suggestive and romantic atmosphere.

The refuge can be reached on foot from Lake Pianozes (trail marker no. 430 - about 30 minutes) or with a walk of about 45 minutes through gentle ups and downs from Malga Peziè de Parù. Alternatively, you can use the jeep service on request by calling the number (+39) 348 222 1626
A flashlight is recommended if you want to reach the refuge on foot in the evening.
