A summer of true freedom in the high mountains, in the heart of the Dolomites on the highest peak, the Marmolada.
The Marmolada - Move to the top cable cars will open the summer season on Saturday 7 June for a summer full of unforgettable experiences.
On the Belluno side of the Marmolada, a modern cableway system allows you to go up in just 12 minutes from Malga Ciapela (1450 m) to the Punta Rocca station (3265 m), located right in front of Punta Penìa, the highest peak in the Dolomites (3343 m). , passing through the intermediate stations of Coston d'Antermoja (2350 m) and Serauta (2950 m). Every day it is possible to reach Punta Rocca to enjoy the view, the Marmolada Great War Museum, reach the Marmolada glacier and much more.
The starting point is at Malga Ciapela, in front of a large free car park in the center of the village.
Every day from 09:00 to 16:30 (last descent from Punta Rocca) you will find a cable car made up of three sections that will take you in a few minutes to the panoramic terrace where you will feel as if you are touching the sky with a finger, admiring the Dolomites at 360° and, on days with clear skies, you will also be able to see the bell tower of San Marco to Venice.
