Ma le Dolomiti cosa sono?

From an article by Engineer Tristano Dal Canton:

“After presenting a brief summary of the geological history of the Dolomites, the geological factors that most characterize the Dolomite territory will be framed. Imagining that Dino Buzzati begins a virtual walk starting from Pederobba and ascending along the Val del Piave, some texts of the great writer, journalist, painter, and mountaineer will be examined, linking them to the explanation of geologist Bruno Castiglioni. A preview of the photos present in the book and then in the “geological” story is the one reproduced here (in special preview for the readers of “Il Tornado”), namely a panoramic view toward the sea taken in winter from Malga Paoda. We look forward to seeing you at the Bice Lazzari Cultural Center for three evenings absolutely not to be missed!”

The presentation is part of the “Autunno libri” review, three evenings in which two other books will be presented:
