Limana Folk Village - Inside Bob Dylan

The Municipality and the Pro Loco of Limana, with the patronage of Ca' Foscari University of Venice, present the first edition of Limana Folk Village - Inside Bob Dylan a festival that intertwines music, literature, art, and cinema to tell the story of Bob Dylan's work and legacy and the cultural ferment of the Folk Revival.

For two days, Limana will become a stage open to dialogue between scholars, critics, musicians, writers, collectors, and archivists, with a program that combines academic research, live performances, and international testimonies:

SATURDAY 13
3:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Institutional greetings and event opening
3:30 PM - 5:30 PM: Come Get Around Critics. Meeting with writers Maria Anita Stefanelli and Fabio Fantuzzi. A multi-voiced dialogue on the multifaceted Dylanian work.
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Concert Bob Dylan's American Songbook. A musical journey through America's jazz, tracing Bob Dylan's personal tribute to the Great American Songbook.
9:00 PM - 11:00 PM: Concert Got the Bob Dylan Blues, and the Bob Dylan Shoes. Tribute concert to Bob Dylan's songs, from his early albums to recent music. Featuring: Andrea Alzetta, Andrea Brillo, Davide Baldo, Fabio Fantuzzi, Elena Libralesso, plus special guests.

SUNDAY 14
3:30 PM - 4:45 PM: Bootleg Tales. Roundtable with music critic Riccardo Bertoncelli, collector Andrea Brillo, and photographer Andrea Orlandi.
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Inside the Museums. Screening of the short film My Back Pages and discussion with renowned American collector Mitch Blank.
6:30 PM - 7:45 PM: The Wandering Song: Bob Dylan & Norman Raeben. A journey between painting and song. Presentation with musical accompaniment by Fabio Fantuzzi and Andrea Alzetta.
9:00 PM - 11:00 PM: Final concert.

Event open to everyone.

The events will be held at: the Municipality of Limana (afternoon conferences and concerts - De Fanti Hall); the Pro Loco Tent (evening concerts on Saturday and Sunday)
