Giornate FAI d'autunno - visita speciale

The FAI Autumn Days are back, the great autumn event in the square that FAI dedicates to the cultural and landscape heritage of our country, animated and promoted by the FAI Youth Groups, with the support of all the Delegations.

We look forward to seeing you in Feltre for a special visit: We gather the scattered leaves of the convents of Feltre.

In this guided tour, we will discover the architectural and artistic details of some ancient suppressed Feltrinian convents: the convent of Santa Chiara, that of San Pietro in Vincoli, and that of Santa Maria degli Angeli.

Among the visible remains outside, there is an arch that provided access to the complex of the Conventual Franciscan friars, two portals that led to the convent of the nuns of Santa Chiara, and part of the ancient cloister at Santa Maria degli Angeli.

We will then see some splendid marble altars with paintings that once belonged to the collections of these demolished monastic complexes.
