Elio in "Quando un musicista ride"

On Friday, November 21, there will be a show by Elio in "Quando un musicista ride", at the Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.

An easy task for Elio and his band of very young virtuosos who, after the great success of Ci vuole orecchio, are now enjoying exploring and reinventing that immense seriously comic repertoire at the crossroads of song and disillusionment that, especially around the 1960s, has influenced music, song, cabaret, and Italian theater.
From Fo to Gaber, from Jannacci to Cochi and Renato, from I Gufi to Felice Andreasi, and many more, a generation of eccentric and unconventional artists who have surprised and entertained everyone, from experimentalists to the general public, reinventing a musical genre rich in extravagant and amusing "carefree songs".
That is what this show aims to do, rediscovering and renewing those brilliant, innovative, nonconformist ideas, and also that creative freedom today. Because it's beautiful to be there "when a musician laughs".
