On Sunday, September 28, 2025, the Alpini Group of Campolongo organizes the "Commemoration of the Fallen and Missing in Russia and Memorial of the Sacrifice of Arturo De Zolt." Authorities, military and civilian, Alpini and discharged members of all Armed Forces, families of the fallen and missing, associations of arms, and the general population are invited to the event.
Below is the complete program for the day:
5:30 PM: Meeting of Authorities, Associations, and the population in Piazza S. Giacomo.
5:40 PM: Transfer to the monument dedicated to Sergeant Major Aviere Arturo De Zolt. Prayer for the deceased, Honors to the Fallen, and floral tribute deposit.
6:00 PM: Transfer to the chapel of the Missing. Commemoration and Honors to the Fallen and Missing of Comelico in Russia, with the laying of a laurel wreath. The perpetual candle is lit by the Mayor of the Municipality of Santo Stefano di Cadore.
6:15 PM: Transfer to the parish church for a Mass of suffrage for the Fallen and the victims of all Wars.
