On Saturday, November 15, the conference "Discovering the Mamuthones and Issohadores of Mamoiada" will be held at the Salone Nobile of Palazzo Fulcis.
Dr. Mariella Mele from the Museum of Mediterranean Masks in Mamoiada will explain to the attendees what lies behind the Sardinian ritual masks of the Mamuthones and Issohadores of Mamoiada, the Boes, Merdules, and Filonzana of Ottana, and the Thurpos of Orotelli, which can be seen in the Sardinian Museum directed by Dr. Elena Giangiulo , who will also speak at the conference.
