Anello della Valbelluna (Valbelluna Ring)

Anello Della Valbelluna (Valbelluna Ring)

The Valbelluna Ring is an approximately 80-kilometre route that connects Belluno, “the Shining City” with Feltre, the “Painted City”. Consisting of bike paths and country lanes this loop, that is not particularly difficult, is also perfect for less experienced cyclists or families and can be travelled comfortably on electric bikes.

The railway line stops at many towns on the route, allowing you to end the tour earlier or shorten it if you wish.

The Dolomites of Valbelluna is the backdrop for this easy bicycle tour. Along the way you will reach several places of cultural-historical and natural interest. Villa Gaggia, on the border between the municipalities of Sedico and Belluno, is famous for hosting the meeting between Hitler and Mussolini on 19 July 1943, a few days before the latter’s arrest. The Santa Libera mill along the ancient waterways of the Santa Giustina territory.

The Sanctuary of Saints Victor and Corona in Feltre, the Arcipretale Church in Lentiai and the little church in Bardies that houses precious art treasures. The Vinchetto Nature Reserve in Celarda or the Rimonta Ponds with artists’ sculptures along the way.

The delightful old town centres of Feltre, Belluno and Mel, one of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages with an Orange Flag of the Italian Touring Club. On this beautiful loop exploring the Valbelluna area, these are just some of the places where you can stop for a break and look around.
