Cortina Foundation and Unilumsa are organizing on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Alexander Girardi Hall the conference titled:
“The Italy system put to the test of Olympic and Paralympic values. Milan-Cortina 2026”.
An entire day of discussion and deepening on values, organizational challenges, and opportunities that the Games represent for the country and for mountainous areas.
Morning - 9:30 AM
Three thematic workshops dedicated to:
- Trade unions and territory
- Participatory rescue, institutions, and volunteering
- The economy of the mountains
Moderated by Dr. Guglielmo Fiori (LUMSA), with contributions from academics, union representatives, and local figures.
Afternoon - 4:30 PM
Conference moderated by Francesco Chiamulera, with greetings from the Mayor of Cortina Gianluca Lorenzi and contributions from important representatives of the institutional and sports world.
Also present will be the athletes of Fiamme Oro – including René De Silvestro, Nadia Delago, Daniel Grassl, Tommaso Dotti, Massimiliano Luiu, and Enrica Cipolloni – along with Olympic champion Gabriella Dorio, gold in the 1500 m in Los Angeles 1984.
