Val Di Zoldo

Val di Zoldo is a valley nestled between Pelmo, “Caregon of the Eternal Father,” and Civetta, two of the most famous Dolomite peaks. A land of ice cream makers and artisans, far from the big tourist resorts, the Zoldo area will allow you to come into contact with nature and local traditions that are still kept up.

During winter, you can embark on adventurous ski descents in the more than 70 kilometres of the Ski Civetta ski area, walk in snowshoes accompanied only by the sound of your footsteps on the snow, experience the intense excitement of ski touring or regenerating snowshoeing, enjoy the cross-country ski trails or test your skills at the biathlon range.

In warm weather you can venture through forests, pastures and streams in unique and rejuvenating scenery by choosing from hiking, walking and Nordic walking trails for all levels. If you are looking for more adrenalin rush, try climbing up the walls of Civetta, Pelmo, Moiazza, Spiz di Mezodì or Bosconero.

But Val di Zoldo is also worth spending your holidays there for its past and its traditions: from rural architecture, to the history of ice-cream makers, from Carnival, to the local cuisine. As you stroll through its quaint villages, listening to its stories, you will realize how each small town has its own story to tell
